The rooms were very spacious and there was a living room set up in the children's room. They had a beautiful fireplace with a decorated mantle. The heavy brocade drapery was not only very lovely to look at but kept the sunshine out when we wanted to sleep in. The room was so elegant, you forget you are in this century. The dining area for breakfast was nicely decorated as well. The attention to detail was amazing. The outdoor courtyard was so quaint and peaceful. They have beautiful roses all over and you can sit and enjoy the quiet, beautiful countryside. I loved that the toilet room was separate from the bathing room. It had a great toilet and toilet paper dispenser. In Europe, many of the toilets are not made very well, this one was great. Still no fan in the bathroom though so bring your Poo Pouri! That staff was so friendly and spoke English very well. They were very helpful and made dinner reservations for us. They were very kind and told us the history of the area. This was the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in, in Europe! I seriously can't believe how spotless it was. We felt completely comfortable in our room and the dining area. The drive through the village was the most beautiful part of our trip and ending up in the room we had, made me feel like a princess in a fairy tale.
