We unfortunately experienced a water cut in the room and part of the hotel facilities from 10:00 till 17:30 so the two days stay was a little unusual. But we were compensated by a 20% reduction in price.

Magical place wandering around Le petite france area.
Magical place wandering around Le petite france area. Highly recommend the tourist trains (there are two) which both go from either side of the cathedral. 45 mins each circuit. Informative and interesting. Do the one through Le Petite France first as it’s the best. The second one takes you more around the city through university area and past historical german/nazi areas. Make sure to wandering around Le Petite France on foot also though esp around the lock area by the tanners house.

A beautiful medieval town with interesting architecture.
A beautiful medieval town with interesting architecture. The guided tour (which was offered in 12 languages!!) with the boat through the river was nice and interesting. People in general and personnel of the hotel, restaurants and cafes were very polite, smiling and multilingual (something extremely useful if you don't speak French). The famous cathedral was beautiful architecturally but somehow "soulless" and icy cold. The stairs to the top need excellent physical condition. The charge was different for some of us, for no reason. It seemed that the person who was responsible for the tickets decided on spot about the price (some of us paid 8 euros while others 5 euros. We were all the same age with no students...). Unfortunately most of the restaurants and cafes aren't local but Asian so if you want to taste the local dishes you need to search a lot.

There was no outstanding museum or building, but the overall impression was good.

The history of the city of Strasbourg was never ending! The old buildings, the beautiful views as well as the very helpful and friendly shop owners and citizens ensures that we will return to Strasbourg. One of the best places I have been to.
One of the best places I have been to. Notre dame is a must visit. Take in the beauty of the canals and stroll by.
There are boats plying on the canal. Don’t take them. Walk is the best. People are very friendly. Beer is good.
I liked everything about this hotel, the welcome of the staff, the ease of parking, the perfect location of the hotel (in the middle of Strasbourg) near everything the very spacious room, and comfortable
The Hotel is very nicely decorated, and everything is very clean. The person who is in charge of parking the car is very kind, seriously it was a super nice and beautiful experience. They made us feel very welcome
I would stay in this hotel again 100%
I was travelling by bicycle and this hotel was right by the Eurovelo 5 cycle track along the river, and not far from the historic centre of Strasbourg. It was very easy to find. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The in-house restaurant, with its quiet outdoor patio in the rear yard, was my preferred dining option while in Strasbourg for three nights. A safe place was available for my bicycle on the ground floor of the hotel.
The Hotel Gutenberg was a wonderful hotel, just as expected from the booking. It was perfectly located to walk around the old town, and Petite France. The hotel staff was very helpful and very friendly! Although small, the room was nicely appointed and had everything we needed. Loved the breakfast! This is a compact hotel, but what more does one need beside a clean, comfortable room, great staff members, and a perfect location!
BOMA hotel has convenient location: ±10-minutes walk from the railway station, several minutes of an easy walk to the Cathédrale Notre Dame de Strasbourg, to the area of La Petite France. There is a variety of bars, restaurants, bistro in the neighbouring streets. Our double room was new (or newly refurbished) with an elegant decor. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The personnel of reception was professional and welcoming.
Staff were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Location was quiet and safe, with mostly all-round access to a nearby supermarket, and 10 mins by tram from the centre of Strasbourg. From the hotel, we were able to travel by tram anywhere we wanted in Strasbourg, even on Christmas day. Hotel also provided DIY laundry facilities, which were very useful over the holiday period.
Everything. The hotel was beautiful -- full of history, clean, so quiet, and so comfortable, with a great old bar and cafe area in a walled-off courtyard filled with plants and statues and pretty lights and umbrella tables. The staff was accommodating, kind, cheerful. The location was perfect - near La Petite France historic area, but not touristy.
We were on our way to Switzerland and searched for a hotel nearby for the night. The Marriott Strasbourg was truly a marble, it has very modern, clean and luxurious rooms. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is situated next to the European Parliament, so a bit further located from the centre but in a quiet neighbourhood.
No frills business hotel that fully meets expectations and is - if you arrive by train - super conveniently located across the trains station square. In Strasbourg this is by no means a dodgy neigbourhood and it is a short walking distance into the city centre and to the touristy spots. Breakfast is also pretty good ...
The location of the accommodation is very central next to the tram that takes you to the centre of the city. Walking distance from the picturesque Petite France ! The hotel is also 1 min walk from the contemporary art museum. Nice building as well !! Studio size was good with all necessary facilities.
We stayed at le Bristol from 21 till 23 December, the location was more than perfect just across the gare, very close to the Christmas markets and very good restaurants around the hotel, i surely recommend and if i revisited strasbourg i will surely stay there again, thank you and joyeux noel
Lovely hotel just in the outskirts of the old town area. Tram is less than 10 mins walk and theres a bus stop right outside the hotel into the city centre. Room nice and clean, shower nice and hot and breakfast was plentiful. Would definitely recommend if staying in Strasbourg. Sláinte🇮🇪
The hotel was in a brilliant location, close to the river and only a short walk into the city centre. The rooms were very comfortable and immaculately clean. staff were very friendly and there was no language barrier.
I would definitely choose again next time I visit strasbourg.
Great hotel, great room. The receptionist was super helpful with our last minute booking and even upgraded us knowing what a bad experience we had at our last hotel, since she wanted us to have a nice reception in Strasbourg. Helpful staff, clean hotel- highly recommend.
The place was clean, nice , and well appointed. The staff was great. The beds are comfortable and the space large for the area. The location was good, with a 15 minute walk to the train station and about a 20 minute walk to la petite france.
The hotel was in the city centre, very close to Petite France and Notre Damme. In a park, by the river, offered quiet moments and easy access to wherever I needed to go. Clean, spatious room and professional staff, always there to help.
The hotel is perfectly located at Le Petit France district and it is surrounded by very nice restaurants and cafes. Our room had an amazing view and was very spacious and comfortable. The Spa area and the bar at the hotel were a must.
Everything was great, the apartment is well located near city center, short walk to everything!, trams, supermarket, retail stores, restaurants, petite France neighborhood (must to see in Strasbourg). Awesome hosts!!
Great hotel, right next to Strasbourg station, cool design, comfortable beds, I never got round to checking it out but the bar on site looked really nice too, and the shower was really really comfortable.
